Chief investigator of the ‘Y’s of Nervous System Chaos, Yoga Teachings Coach, Facilitator of ‘Real Talk’ about the internal dance partners, Chaos and Calm and….last but not least, Seeker of life’s little luxuries that feel great, just when needed!
With extensive yoga certifications coupled with Process Improvement expertise, gained through corporate roles and a background in food science, I will guide you towards the balance between the dance partners, ‘chaos and calm‘. I live with ADD and addiction syndrome. ADD was not identified when I was growing up. In a family of 8 people, I always felt misunderstood. I still do. The ‘Karen’, the ‘Rebel’, the ‘Warrior’. Aspects of myself that have harmed me and served me, not always equally. These challenges have taken me on a journey to find my balance ‘within’. At 62, I have learned how to dance with the polarities that make life whole. I will share with you what I have gained in my quest to find answers to stress, strain and finding the ground in my life. The answers will not be what you think!
So who am I to be here with you?
- I hold five yoga certifications, over 1,000 hours of advanced training, and a special focus on nervous system regulation to reduce stress.
- A food science grad trained in Total Quality Management (TQM), also known as process improvement, with 20+ years in the corporate and manufacturing world.
- I live with a dopamanergic imbalance, commonly referred to as addiction. Addiction discoveries continue to be revealed, giving me solace with the ingrained low self esteem that comes with this disease
- And I’ve lived all the seasons of womanhood—child, teenager, new mom, menopausal, grandmother, family black sheep, non-conformer, rebel—you name it.
This is what I bring to the table. Buckle up if you choose to stay. I have a kind heart, a deeply sensitive soul and a warrior within who strives to be honest with my place in life, how I feel and what I can do about it. This movement is not for the faint of heart.
